 The Outlanes DIY boatyard is handily situated on the Middlewich link branch of the Shropshire Union Canal between Nanneys Bridge No8 (B5074) and the aquaduct over the River Weaver. The Boatyard is located in a quiet rural location deep in the Cheshire countryside.Canal Boat Storage
on the yard we have provided hard standing for the storage of canal boats and both short or long term stays are most welcome. nothing is to much trouble
Canal Boat Refurbishment
The Outlanes is an ideal site on which to store your canal boat whilst you service, paint or refurbish your canal boat. We also provide access to electricity and water. we have a shed available so that you can work and paint your boat out of the weather, and a special trailer to enable boats to be transported around the yard and back and forth to the canal side. We will also arrange for a crane to be available on the farm to lift boats in and out of the water.
